Writing to Avoid Plagiarism
Remember these tips for paraphrasing:
- Use a paraphrase when you want to change
the style or the language used in the original, either to make it easier to
understand or to make it fit better into your own piece of writing.
- Again, read the
original text carefully.
Make sure you understand what the author said/wrote.
- The paraphrase should be about the same
length as the original text from the author, but both the words and the
sentence structure of the original must be changed in the paraphrase.
