Thank you for taking the Diagnostic test on Thursday!  I have read all of your essays but I cannot post them because there are still a few students who have not taken it.  Once the entire class has taken the Diagnostic, I will return them to you.

On Tuesday's class, we will talk about cultural writing styles.  Before the lesson, think about the differences between writing in English and writing in your native language (Chinese, Russian, etc.)  We will discuss those differences in class.

On Thursday, August 30th, we will have the Diagnostic in class.  We will also talk about Dropbox.

Welcome to ESL 500!  This week will be introduction week with a course outline and overview.  On Thursday, August 30, we will administer the Diagnostic.
